I'm a product designer with a background in enterprise applications, financial services, and global consumer sites. I love to help simplify the complex, work on big problems, and collaborate with tightly-knit teams. I gravitate toward products that solve important problems. As a manager I believe in recognition, transparency, and iterative learning.
Created a new design language system for Intuit's web and mobile QuickBooks products and redesigned the QuickBooks ecosystem of products. This included the iPad, iPhone, android and web suite of products.
Wells Fargo Homepage
www.wellsfargo.com As the Design Lead for the Wells Fargo homepage redesign project, I worked with research, marketing and visual design to transform our homepage and increase access to our product pages. The project required a significant amount of A/B test design, as well as qualitative research methods. The redesign is still live today and the effort resulted in a 14% increase in product sign ups in the first year.

Yahoo! Social Profile
http://www.profiles.yahoo.com/ As the Director of User Experience for our social team, I led our team's universal profile project. This complex initiative required us to merge data coming from Yahoo! 360, registration data, Flickr, and our other properties. The result was a central and universal profile where you could view your activity from across the web.
Yahoo! Social Feed
Aggregated social activity feeds with Twitter and Facebook www.yahoo.com, http://tv.yahoo.com/, http://new.music.yahoo.com/

Yahoo! Global Registration
https://edit.yahoo.com/registration?.src=fpctx&.intl=us&.done=http://www.yahoo.com/ As the Director of User Experience for Yahoo!'s membership and community goups, I was responsible for maintaining our login and registration pages. During my time in the role, we rolled out a single registration page that could be tuned for global markets. We simplified the UI of the page and optimized the email selection process by using suggestions based on data you entered about yourself. We localized the secret questions and answers so that they would be relevant in each country. During my time managing the registration experience conversion on the registration page increased by 22%.
HP Easy Buy
HP Easy Buy was an online ordering system that I designed the UI and visual design for.
PeopleSoft CRM Application
As a hybrid researcher and designer I redesigned PeopleSoft's CRM products. This included new feature additions from PeopleSoft 8.0 to 8.5 and a redesigned toolbar. On the research side, I tested PeopleSoft CRM internationally using time-on-task analysis to measure the increased efficiency between PeopleSoft CRM 8.0 and 8.5.
In this role, I also created a set of design patterns common to all our CRM products, in order to better standardize the end user experience and ensure that related interactions were consistent across applications. I wrote and created a web-based application style guide for designers and developers. This included detailed interaction and design specifications, spacing and layout requirements, general UI principals, design patterns, and links to developer's notes about each element.
At Fireman's fund, I developed a UI component library that was used to create all FF applications. The library contained UI standards, rules for use, and code snipets so that developers could build new forms and applications in a lightweight way. This also allowed FF to have consistency between applications.
